it's been a while

and so thought I should check in .. My FMLA ran out beginning of this week and I'm supposed to be on Medical Leave. If they don't approve I could be out of my job. But I've not heard anything from anyone, altho I've sent email detailing my plans and expectations. We'll see. I'm no longer on a cane and can walk pretty well I suppose. I still weave *a little* and sometimes have my heel slip in and slide, instead of a good step, but I'm working on it. Therapy is going well and I'm exhausted by the time I'm done with it. I'll want to continue therapy after this first round is done - it will do me a lot of good. I'll be back to work May 2nd (week of) and the only thing I worry on is my endurance. Standing/walking for 10 hours a night is difficult. Once I get back into it tho, I think I'll be OK.
